Our Cottages
Mill Point Resort cottages are situated within 45 feet of the water's edge. The interiors were remodeled in 2009, with new floors throughout the cottages, new bathrooms, new beds, new stoves, new water heaters, and new electric heat. You will find that the cottages are comfortable and exceptionally clean.

Mill Point Resort also has a New Game Room which includes foosball, ping pong, board games, 50 inch TV for use with DVDs or Videos (bring your own or choose from our library), and access to Wireless Internet. View Game Room Photos

Private Home on Alder Lake
This home is on the famous Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes but not connected to the Mill Point Resort. The Private Home and the resort do not share amenities. You can enjoy sun all day because it faces south and it is great for the swimming enthusiast. It is a two bedroom house that sleeps 5 (1 Q, 3 Twin Beds). Adjacent to the private home is a guest cottage that sleeps 4 (2 Full Beds). This cottage can be rented separately.
Our three bedroom Mill Point House and each of our five Housekeeping cottages are equipped with:
  • Refrigerator/freezer
  • Electric range and oven
  • Microwave
  • Automatic coffee maker
  • Full compliment of cookware, dishes,
    glasses & utensils
  • Pillows, mattress pads, warm blankets
  • Kitchen towels and dish cloths
  • Shower
  • Electric or natural gas heat
  • Charcoal grill
  • Picnic table
  • Adirondack chairs
  • Private pier
  • 12ft row boat
  • Common fire pit (wood provided)

  • Each cottage has it's own private pier

You will need to bring your own bath towels,
bed linens & life jackets.



The southwest exposure of the resort allows
the sun to warm the golden, sand beach early
each morning and finish the day with a view
of the beautiful sunset over Alder Lake.

The Mill House and Private Home are available for rent all year. Call for information.

  • Cottages 4-5 have a max capacity of 6. Cottages 1-2-3 and Mill Point House allow a max of 8. The Private Home has a max capacity of 7, the Guest Cottage 6.

  • Please add 5.5 % sales tax and 4.5 % room tax

  • Prime Season (June 12 through August 27)
    Weekly only - Saturday to Saturday
    Check-in 2:00 p.m. -- Check-out 10:00 a.m.

  • Spring & Fall (May 1 to June 11 & Aug 28 to Oct 31)
    Check-in and Check-out times are flexible
    2-Night Minimum stay required

  • A deposit of ($200) is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is due prior to departure. Payment needs to be via personal check or cash. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards.

  • Signed rental agreement and deposit are required for all cottages
    2010 RENTAL AGREEMENT

  • Reservations are considered final upon confirmation. Deposits are non-refundable.

  • For the comfort of our guests, NO PETS are allowed.

  • All buildings are smoke free.

  • Sorry, we do not accept credit cards.
